Please understand that we are a working winery, not a rental facility.  We allow customers to rent our space during specific hours only, but our priority is being open for our winery business and we will therefore only close our business for a full day wedding event rental.  Other rental requests will only be allowed during the hours listed in this agreement. 

Terms of Agreement : 

RENTAL HOURS:

These hours may vary during the winter months when the winery is not as busy and we reduce our open business hours.

            Monday     10:00 am - 8:00 pm

            Tuesday     10:00 am - 8:00 pm

            Wednesday     10:00 am - 1:00 pm

            Thursday     10:00 am - 1:00 pm

            Friday        10:00 am - 1:00 pm

            Saturday    9:00 am - 12:00 pm

            Sunday     6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

 

RENTAL FEES

Rental fees only include use of the rooms or space rented.  
There is a two hour minimum for all rentals.
The room rate is $50 for the first two hours, and $25 per hour for each hour or portion of an hour beyond the minimum.  Hourly rate is figured for any portion of an hour.  For example, if you request a two hour rental from 5 - 7 pm, but the persons in your party come to decorate at 4:15 pm and the clean-up is completed at 7:30 pm, you will be charged for 4 hours instead of 2.
A non-refundable deposit of $25 must be paid at the time of booking and will be applied to the rental fee.  
Your event is not scheduled until the deposit is paid and this agreement has been returned.  
A credit card must be placed on file at the time of booking and will only be used if the balance is not paid at the end of the event.  Final payment of the rental and the cost of wine and food consumption must be paid for immediately upon the conclusion of the event.
The only option for a Saturday rental is for a full day/wedding event.   The fee for this rental is %750.  A non-refundable deposit of $100 is required at the time of booking.  The deposit will be applied to the rental fee.  We require at least 30 days notice to book this type of event. Final payment for the rental fee is due 7 days prior to the event.  Wine and food consumption must be paid for immediately upon the conclusion of the event.

ROOM CAPACITY

Seating for 24 is available in the tasting room.   
Seating for 20-30 is available on the patio.   
Seating for up to 64 chairs/tables is available on the lawn.   At this time, we do not have extra tables and chairs, so you would need to provide them.
Tents may be put up on the lawn for your event, but they will be provided by you.
We do not have extra space for you to store items for your event before the day of, or after the day of your event.    

ADDITIONAL POLICIES

Guests under 21 are welcome in the winery, but may not stand or loiter at the bar area.  However, persons under 21 may not consume alcohol at any event, private or corporate.  

Proper identification will be required for all persons.  
There is no smoking inside the facility or within 8 feet of any entrance at any time.  
No unescorted guests are permitted in the wine production area.  
No vulgar, questionable or illegal products, decorations, etc may be brought in to the winery.   Hooker Corner is the name of our location, but we request all events stay tasteful.
We do not permit guests to bring in additional tables or chairs as the room may become too crowded to satisfy the pathway to the door guidelines established by fire codes.
You may play music on an iPod or bluetooth, but live music is not allowed inside the room.  You may have live music on the patio.
We encourage you to bring decorations for your event, however we do not allow decorations that may damage our facility.  (No tape, thumb tacks or nails on the walls.)

FOOD SERVICE

Wine and food are not included in the rental fees and must be paid for at the conclusion of your event.  Charges will be assessed based on the quantity and choices selected during your event.
Gratuity fees are not included in the rental or food and wine fees.  
All caterers must be licensed and insured.   You may carry in any food that is not offered by the winery.   
You and/or your caterer are responsible for cleaning up after the event.  Tables must be cleared.  All trash must be put into trash bags and we will put it out for pickup.  
We do not supply essentials (paper goods, plastic ware, cups, etc) or decorations for your event.  We only supply wine glasses for wine purchased during the event.
You are responsible for cleaning up any items or essentials you bring to the winery.   Failure to do so will result in a cleaning fee of $25 added to your bill. 
The room must be left in the same condition it was when you arrived.

WINE TASTING

Complimentary wine tasting of 5 flavors will be offered to your guests.
The winery chooses the wine slushie flavors based on availability.  Wine slushies may be limited for Sunday night rentals.   The machine is cleaned on Monday and Tuesday and therefore the mix does not always get replenished on Sunday at close.
Only Hooker Corner wine may be purchased and consumed during the event. No other outside alcoholic beverages are permitted per Indiana state law, including any beer or hard liquor.  
In addition to wine, we sell bottled water, juice boxes, and some other juice drinks in our tasting room.
You are welcome to bring in other non-alcoholic beverages.
Discounts on purchases of bottles of wine are 5% off 6 bottles and 10% off 12 bottles.
